The DRYFOB-XL Container is a waterproof dive housing for popular PLB (Personal Locator Beacon) models and marine radios as well as communicators and rugged flip phones that can be used in a marine emergency. It is IPx8 rated to 330ft (100m).

Note that this canister has a large interior cavity. Picture that it can hold a can of soda! The buoyancy when empty is 11.9 oz (338g) and it weighs 7.8 oz (221g).
The patent pending DRYFOB-XL design is machined out of a solid piece of rugged aluminum alloy and anodized for additional strength and corrosion protection.
Dual O-rings and ample threads are used to provide a waterproof seal.
There are two 4mm x 8mm oval attachment points on the lid which can accommodate a (not included) lanyard, bungee, ring, or clip.
There is also a small 3mm drill through hole on the bottom lip for attaching the top to the cannister for added security. Again, no attachments are provided but many divers will use a bolt-snap and some bungee, or a hoseclamp and bungee cord or a pocket to hold their DRYFOB-XL.
Each DRYFOB-XL comes with a small supply of silicone lube and a set of spare O-rings.
